Staying In Cancun On A Budget

When people think about taking a vacation in Cancun they probably have images of lying in the sun and staying in a luxurious hotel and they probably also think that vacationing in Cancun is expensive, well they would be wrong because I know exactly how you can stay in this lovely part of Mexico on a budget and still enjoy yourself as much as everyone else does.Remember your vacation is only as expensive as you allow it to be, so take a look at some great package deals, you will find these online and you can find some pretty decent hotels to stay in that cost a lot less than you would imagine. Your hotel does not have to be luxurious it just needs to be comfortable, safe and help you feel like you’re on vacation. It’s easy to find some hotel and flight packages that can save you hundreds of dollars which means that all you need to find money for is your hotel transfers (You may be lucky and get these included in the package), your food and any entertainment you want to enjoy while you’re away.Food is pretty cheap in Downtown Cancun believe it or not and you can get some really decent meals just by having a look around; you don’t have to dine in a top class restaurant every night and anyway it’s not always the highest-priced restaurants that serve the best food is it? I’m sure there’s a place close to where you live that is fairly cheap and still manages to serve high quality food; keep this in mind when you’re looking to eat on while you’re on vacation. Plaza Peninsula is a great place to eat and is where a lot of the locals go so you know it’s going to be good; it does some very tasty burgers too.Cancun has a great nightlife and the drinks are reasonably priced but again you need to know where to look, there is often live music playing which is not something you usually have to pay extra to listen to but it makes for a lovely and relatively cheap night out with the opportunity for a bit of a dance if you feel so inclined. Señor Frogs is a place I totally recommend, as well as a great name it has a great lively atmosphere that makes for a great evening, for something a bit slower in pace try Pancho and Willy’s at Captain’s Cove, for a more calmer and relaxing time.There are some hotels in Cancun like The Gran Caribe Real Resort and Spathat offer you rooms for quite a good price and it’s always worth asking if there is any chance of a discount; sometimes you will be refused but you may get lucky now and again, just don’t push it and make sure you are always polite.If you do find yourself being under budget then why not try to save that money for the last day of your vacation when perhaps you can splash out on a special meal or stay in a more expensive hotel for just one night, the choice is yours, just make sure you enjoy!With so many cheap flights to Cancun on offer you will wonder why you didn’t think of coming here before; stop paying so much for your vacation and start saving money even before you arrive.
